Abundance Lakeside Cafe

This cafe was amazing! The food was extraordinary (my partner even said his chicken burger was the best he’s ever eaten and he’s a tough critic!). The passionfruit cheesecake was also exceptional. The cafe has so much wildlife around, like turtles, lizards and birds - it’s very entertaining. For $2, you can also feed them. Beautiful place honestly

I don’t really want to share this review, as I want this place to be a secret. But it was really good and I like to support local businesses where possible. Abundance Cafe was a great find, and sadly has taken me four years to come here after driving past “The Abundance Nursery Experience” highway sign countless times. The meals were fresh, hot and quick off the pass. We were sat under cover near the little water feature but there was a gorgeous deck off a dam/lake thing, plus indoor seating. Staff were friendly and amenities clean. The nursery itself was lovely with a good array of fruits trees. I’ll be back.

Delicious, beautifully presented food, peaceful beautiful scenery and friendly professional service. Perfect for people with food intolerances - they were able to adapt dishes because it's not premade!!! Very accommodating chef who put effort into creating something gourmet that was gf, dairy free, vegan and without garlic or onion. Dog friendly. Loved watching the water dragons, turtles and bird life on the lake. Highly recommend! Best meal in years!

BEST brunch I have EVER had!! My partner and I came across this place by chance and I’m so happy we did! I got the avocado toast with a side of bacon (and they gave a LOT of extra bacon on the side!) and he got the hot honey fried chicken- both absolutely delicious! It’s not just the best food in the area, but as far as I’ve experienced, the best in Australia! Also, the cafe is located next to a lake and seemed to be a nice place for families. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back next time I’m around Port Macquarie!

This lakeside café is in an absolutely amazing and unique location. Being surrounded by nature, with animals and even lizards nearby, makes the experience truly special and memorable. The food was overall very enjoyable and beautifully presented. A small note: the sourdough didn’t quite have the traditional sourdough character, and the scrambled eggs were just a touch overcooked. That said, the experience here is really about the setting and atmosphere, which more than makes up for these minor details. The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and welcoming. The combination of great service, beautiful surroundings, and a relaxed natural environment creates a unique dining experience. Highly recommended, and well done to the team for delivering such a special place to enjoy.

Absolutely amazing food, lovely staff, great atmosphere. The big breakfast, smashed Avocado and kids waffles were so delicious! And the coffee, too! The lake has ducks and tortoises in it and you can buy a bag of fish food to feed them. We've had a fantastic morning, thanks so much!

We recently took some American friends here for breakfast and it was delightful .Generous portions ,fresh produce and a wonderful selection in the menu . Top it off with a lovely atmosphere eating by the small lake strewn with waterlilies, ducks and lizards,we had a terrific morning! We had a selection of meals such as mushrooms on sour dough,granola with yoghurt and edible flowers and corn fritters,french toast ! Pleasant staff and it is also dog friendly ! Highly recommend !

A delicious lunch in a beautiful setting with lovely friendly staff. You really can't ask for more sitting on the deck overlooking the lake with a few ducks, moor hens and water dragons swimming by. The food is cooked perfectly, my burger was one of the better ones I've had for a while. My wife's salt n pepper squid had a lovely Thai salad dressing. Well done guys. PS - recommend booking
